So, what all do you need to wire up? Periodically check the manual operation of the door as well. If your warranty will replace the original, non-functioning wall button, this is the time to use it.

I hadn't stowed a ladder properly on the hooks just inside the door once and the shutter had no problem lifting the ladder by pressing down on the short part extending beyond the hook - at most 18. Make sure not to disconnect the safety sensors.

The unit had a worm gear replaced. It has optical sensors and remote opener. How should the wires be connected on the Opener Terminal screws. There are 3 terminals: 1 is red, 2 is white, 3 is black. The only wires currently going to it are from the optical sensors. The wires were not labeled before they were removed. The wires to the door sensors should be 2 white wires and 2 white with a black stripe. Put the red wire to the wall switch on terminal 1-red. Put the white wire to the wall switch and the 2 white wires to the door sensors on terminal 2-white. Put the 2 white with a black stripe wires to the door sensors on terminal 3-black.

Is that what you are referring to? Make sure the wires are not kinked and are not pulling on the connections. In my manual, these wires are white, and white with red stripe. The only reason it is overkill is because you could attach 4 openers with that cable; 2 wires per button. Thank you for the opportunity! Make a hole with a drill big enough for the wall anchor to enter. Step 1: Turn Power Off Before beginning any electrical work it is always the safest option to turn the power off at the main circuit breaker. Install plastic conduit along the joists and to the wall where you are going to connect the wires.
